This weekend they celebrated the grand opening of one section of the new Loop 49 around Tyler. ETMC hosted a booth, there was a parade and speakers and the regular grand opening hoopla one would expect at such an event. Downfall - the HEAT! It was 100+. Needless to say, the kids and I didn't stay too long. But here are some shots of our 45 minutes of celebration...
