Didn't take any pictures of the family this weekend but I was able to scrounge this one up merely for visual purposes. This is a shot of me and some of my co-workers during a drawing for Associate Appreciation week a couple weeks ago.
But no new pictures doesn't mean no new news. Last week was bitter sweet for me. One one hand, my good friend Nicole gave birth to a beautiful new baby boy. It's her first and I welcome her to parenthood!! On the other hand, however, I received news that another good friend has been diagnosed with MS. It really bummed me out and I'm still trying to learn more about the disease so I can be as supportive as I can. I realize it doesn't necessarily mean life is over for her, but life will be quite different now.
My mom and step-dad are visiting this weekend! I'm really looking forward to it... we haven't had visitors since Easter so it is definitely time. Next week, I'm sure, I'll have lots more pictures and news. Have a great Labor Day Weekend!!
