I remember this...
This is a bad picture, but you can get the jist of how snowy and dreary it is here in good ol' rural Greenwood, Nebraska today. I feel as if we're stranded. The schools have closed and the roads are supposedly pretty bad. Alas, I am going to still try to make my hair appointment later today.We have been having a good time so far. Our travel day last Saturday was interesting. I was informed at Dallas' check in that I would miss my St. Louis connection. My options were (1) wait 7 hours in St. Louis for the next flight to Omaha or, (2) Take Dallas to Houston to Chicago to Omaha with minimal layovers. I chose the later in an attempt to keep it moving along. The kids did well. Stephen fussed on all three descents but slept otherwise.
Sunday was spent with family at Mom's; Monday we lunched with Mike's parents in Omaha and today, as I said, we're stuck. I'm really, really missing my husband and my sweet Nicky. They will be arriving Thursday morning though so a reuinion is fast approaching.
