I made the Jacksonville Paper. Alliance did deserve recognition for this. Our Associates really came through. Lesa, Dee and I (pictured) took loads and loads of gifts to the Center. We had bikes and TVs and radios, clothes. If it was on their list, we had it. The Crisis Center staff was beyond grateful. They've thanked us over and over.

Good Morning

This picture probably doesn't do it justice, but the sunrise this morning was spectacular. I stopped and took this picture by Love's Lookout just north of Jacksonville. The view spans 35 miles. It was quite foggy which made it all the more beautiful, I thought. A picture only God could create, really.

Goofy

Here are some pictures of crazy Macy that we took last night in the play room. As you can see, she was having quite the time being goofy.
She just cracks me up.

All American Weekend

Spent most of the weekend shopping with Macy. So while the girls were at the mall, Mike and Nicks did manly things - changed the oil in the Durango, browsed Home Depot and watched football. Ah, Americana!
didn't take any pictures this weekend. Here's one of my old mug to keep things moving along. t's self-made, of course. And I'm beginning to look a lot like mom...

Continued Nick's birthday celebration with dinner & cake on Saturday...

Nick with his birthday posse - Marc, Matt, Luke & Macy.

apologies

My intent with this site was to post every Monday. Alas! due to some technical difficulties that I'm still trying to figure out, posting will be delayed a bit. Hopefully by next Monday things will be figured out. Sorry...

Welcome, 2006

No, it's not a twister. It's a really cool cloud we spotted on the long drive back to Texas on the 1st.

New Years Eve

Got to spend New Years Eve with the Tomlins in KC. Macy & Elisabeth celebrated with lollipops & apple juice. Cheers!

Nicky also got a piece of the action. We celebrated his first birthday early while we were amongst family.

Happy Birthday, Macy!!!

Glamour Girl, Macy, turned 3 on December 30. She celebrated princess style with all her Nebraska cousins...

The Loves of My Life

This was taken at Grandma & Grandpa Miriovsky's on Christmas Eve 2005. I love this picture.

This was taken the same night.

Playtime

A rare glimps of the girls in a mutually happy moment... Rightfully so, Nicky seems scared and confused.

But seriously, this was taken by daddy as we were all playing in Macy's room one night. It was one of those nights that will just stick out because we all had so much fun together - doing basically nothing.

Christmas with Attitude...

Ah, yes.. Little miss Macy shows us what's up in front of Grandma 'Ginia's Christmas Tree. Gotta love her...
